Step 1
Soak lentils in hot water in a bowl. In a pot sauté the onions for five minutes, then add the ginger, garlic, carrots and peppers, and sauté for 2 minutes.
Add the soaked and washed lentils, bouillon cubes, spices, water, coconut milk, and salt to taste. Allowed to boil for 2 minutes, and then simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
