Thick Red Lentil Soup (Adas Majroush)
This Thick red Lentil Soup (Adas Majroush) has the authentic flavors of the Middle East in every spoonful. It's made with few ingredients and packs a lot of flavor.

Add the oil and butter to a medium pot on high heat. Then, add in the cubed onion and sauté until caramelized.
After washing and soaking the red lentils and rice for 10 minutes (in one bowl), drain the water then add them to the pot.
After that, pour in the water, bouillon cubes, salt ,and 7 spices. Allow to boil, then simmer for 20 minutes stirring occasionally.
Garnish with chopped parsley and enjoy alone, veggies or with pita bread.
