  • 1 (8 oz) cream cheese
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Make sure that the cream cheese is at room temperature.

  • Whisk the cream cheese with a hand mixer in a bowl.

  • Turn it off and add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.

  • Whisk on low speed for 30 seconds. Then, set the hand mixer on the high speed until smooth and whipped.

Notes

Note 1: If you like your frosting to be looser, closer to icing, simply add 1 tablespoon of milk at a time until desired consistency is achieved.
Note 2: If you like your icing to be thicker, simply add 1 tablespoon of sugar at a time until desired consistency is achieved.
Note 3: If you want to make it thicker but not extra sweet, you can add a teaspoon of cornstarch or more until it has the texture you like.
