Tuna Salad Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1 cans Solid white albacore tuna
  • ½ lemon juice
  • 1 ½ tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon White vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons avocado mayo
  • 1 stalks celery
  • 2 radishes
  • 3-4 pickles
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 teaspoon everything but the Bagel seasoning
  • gouda cheese slice

Bread

  • 2 Toast

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, add 1 can of solid white albacore tuna, lemon juice, olive oil, white vinegar and avocado mayo, salt and pepper, everything but the bagel seasoning then mix well.
  • Cut celery in cubes, 2 radishes julienned and 3-4 pickles chopped or cubed then add to the tuna and mix well.
  • Place a generous amount between two toast sandwiches with a slice of Gouda cheese.
  • Toast in a panini press or on any skillet stove top-medium heat! Enjoy warm.

Notes

Note 1: If you’re using tuna packed in water, make sure to drain it and add 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil.
Note 2: If you’re up for some change, don’t hesitate to use cottage cheese!
Note 3: Feel free to decrease the amount of mayonnaise if you’re using oil-packed tuna. If you're not the biggest fan of mayo, you could simply replace it with yogurt.
Note 4: If you prefer to use oil-packed tuna, remove excess oil by using a fine-mesh sieve to rinse the tuna with cold water. Then, press it with a spoon to extract the liquid.
