Sautéed Mushrooms and Onions
This amazing sautéed mushrooms and onions dish is out of this world! Try it with steaks, burgers, mashed potatoes, and more!

- 24 ounces crimini mushrooms
- 2 onions thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or unsalted butter
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- ½ cup water
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- salt to taste
In a medium skillet heat olive oil them add the thinly sliced onion to sauté for a few minutes. Place on high heat until boiling, while stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile thoroughly wash the mushrooms then slice in half. Place them in the skillet to sauté with the onions for a few more minutes.
Now add in ⅓ cup of soy sauce, ½ cup of water, black pepper and salt to taste.
Place on high heat until boiling, while stirring occasionally until.
Reduce heat to low, cover the pan and continue to simmer for 12-14 minutes or until liquid is reduced.
