How to Prepare Rice Water

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 3 cups water

Instructions

  • Simply, take a cup of rice (any type of rice works e.g. white rice), give it a good rinse, then discard the water.
  • Next, you will need to soak the rice in water for about 20-25 minutes, stirring every once in a while.
  • Strain the water, then transfer it to a spray bottle and set aside overnight until it starts to ferment.
  • Since the fermentation process depends on the temperature, the more you expose the water to warmth and heat, the faster the process will be. You can also boil the water if you prefer.
