Cook the angel hair according to instructions then drain.
Place the olive oil in the skillet on high heat. After one minute add in the cubed onions, sauté for a few minutes, then add the fresh mushrooms for another minute or two.
Add in the shrimp, butter, garlic, cilantro, salt, and pepper. Mix and cook for 4 minutes, mixing occasionally.
Finally, add in the drained pasta, toss together until all the ingredients are incorporated. Turn off heat then drizzle the shrimp scampi with a little olive oil. Serve warm and enjoy!
