2tablespoons chia seedmix with 6 tablespoons of water; soak for 5 minutes
Instructions
Using a food processor or a Vitamix, add in the old fashioned oats if they are whole, and grind until it turns into oat flour. You can skip this step if you are using oat flour.
Then, add in the rest of the ingredients and pulse until all ingredients are combined but so that you still see slight chunks of the black beans.
Transfer to a bowl.
Rub your hand with cooking oil spray. Form a 3-4 inch of the mix and begin to shape into a patty then place right on griddle at medium heat. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side.
You can place the patties on small tray lined with parchment paper to freeze them for 10 minutes before grilling so that they are firmer and easier to handle.
