  • 1 cup liquid egg whites or 9 egg whites (works best)
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoon sugar or honey I used honey
  • 3 tablespoon cornstarch


  • 3 egg whites
  • 3 tablespoons sugar or honey or maple syrup or sugar free (monk fruit or xylitol)
  • 1 tablespoon starch
  • 1 tablespoon cacao


  • Preheat oven to 350°F. 
  • In a large bowl add 1 cup of liquid egg whites, or 9 egg whites. Using a hand mixer, or kitchen stand mixer, whip on high speed for about 4 minutes or until foamy.
  • Now, add the sugar (or honey) one spoon at a time, the cacao powder, and starch. Whip for about 6 minutes, or until stiff peaks form and holds up.
  • Pour and pile high on a prepared baking sheet with parchment paper. Smooth and shape into a round high loaf shape.
  • Bake for 25-26 minutes. Enjoy!



Tips for Perfectly Fluffy Results!
  1. It is easier to separate your egg whites and yolks while it is cold. However, I would recommend beating them at room temperature.
  2. You can always opt for a sugar-free option by using sweeteners like stevia or Splenda, and unsweetened cocoa powder instead of the regular one.
  3. Make sure your electric mixer is clean and free of any oil and fat. This is crucial while whipping the egg whites.
