- 1 (8 oz) Nespresso coffee pod coffee of choice
- ¼ cup oat milk
- ½ teaspoon sugar of choice
- ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Toppings
- Dairy whipped cream
- coconut milk
- cinnamon
In your favorite cup, brew the coffee. I made Nespresso.
Meanwhile, froth 1/4 cup of oat milk with 1/2 teaspoon of sugar (add more for more sweetness) and 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin spice.
Pour the frothed oat milk into the warm coffee cup. Give it a little mix so the spices mix in with the coffee well.
Top with coconut whipped cream and garnish with cinnamon by adding a bit of cinnamon into a small strainer. Hold it over the whipped cream, tap the strainer so that it sprinkles over the whipped cream.
Tips for Best Results!
- Make this recipe kid-friendly by eliminating the coffee all together.
- If you are short on pumpkin spice, gingerbread spice makes a good substitute. However, I don't think your drink will be very pumpkin-y anymore.
- Consider enhancing the warming natural flavors by adding other spices like nutmeg, ginger, and cloves. For best results, add a pinch of vanilla extract.
