Easy Three Ingredient Caramel Sauce

  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ stick butter unsalted


  • To a sauce pan add the sugar and water and bring to a boil until the sugar has turned golden brown.
  • Remove from heat then add in 1 cup heavy cream and 4-5 tablespoons unsalted butter.
  • Boil on medium heat stirring consistently for about 4 minutes. Add a pinch of salt and mix.
  • Allow the caramel to cool before indulging
