Large golden apples

Butter or coconut oil
softened

Granulated sugar

Brown sugar

Nutmeg

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 °F.
Peel and cube the golden apples into small to medium sized cubes. Mix in the lemon juice then place the apples in a greased 8x8 baking dish.
Add ½ tablespoon cinnamon, the nutmeg, and sugar to the apples. Mix well right in the baking dish.
In a separate bowl mix the oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter.
Sprinkle the oatmeal mixture on top of the apples evenly, then bake for about 55-60 minutes.

Notes
For a lighter version you can swipe the butter for coconut oil, the flour for oat flour and the sugar for honey or maple syrup!
