Ingredients

Coconut oil or butter Coconut brown sugar  Whole wheat flour or white flour Old fashion oats Baking soda Salt Date Paste

Cream the coconut oil or butter and brown sugar with a whisk for about 1 minute.

Add the flour, baking soda, oats and salt. Mix with a spatula.

Sprinkle half the dough into the prepared baking pan. Press down with your fingers or spatula to an even layer all across the pan bottom.

Spray hands with cooking oil spray. Now take the date mixture and mold it flat to form patches.

Press out the filling for a solid layer across the complete bottom of the crust. Sprinkle the rest of the dough over the filling layer, and press down using a spatula. Bake then ⁣allow to cool before cutting.
