Osmaliyi Dessert With Ashta

A crunchy sweet dessert with a creamy filling that will satisfy any sweet tooth!

Preheat your oven, and grease a round 10 x 2 inch pan with butter or cooking spray.

Melt the butter.  Separate and pull apart the Filo dough until it is all loose and apart.  Massage all throughout the pulled apart Filo.

Take half the amount of Filo and press down into the pan and upward around the edges.

 Layer the ashta cream all around, then add the other half of the Filo Dough to cover all the ashta.

Bake until golden brown.  Flip onto a round pan and drizzle simple syrup.

Simply boil sugar, water, blossom water and a squeeze of lemon. Simmer for 15 minutes until syrup has thickened. 

Finally, Flip your Osmaliyi onto a round pan and drizzle some syrup.   Enjoy!
