Ingredients

  • ½ cup Greek Yogurt or cottage cheese
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • ½ cup Berries
  • 1 Banana sliced in half vertically
  • 3 tablespoons Granola

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt or cottage cheese with vanilla extract and honey until well combined. This adds just the right amount of sweetness and flavor.
  • Peel the banana and slice it in half vertically. This creates the classic banana split presentation.
  • Spread the yogurt mixture onto a plate. Place the banana halves on either side, just like a traditional banana split.
  • Top with fresh berries, a generous sprinkle of granola, and an extra drizzle of honey for sweetness.

Notes

Drizzle for extra flavor. A bit of peanut butter, almond butter, caramel, or melted chocolate takes this to the next level!
Use a chilled plate. This keeps the yogurt cold longer, especially if it is being served as a dessert.
Go for a ripe banana. Slightly firm but sweet bananas are perfect for easy slicing and eating.
Make this dessert when you want to serve it. If you cut the bananas too early, they will start to brown. It looks and tastes best made just before enjoying.
Make it a parfait: Layer the ingredients in a glass for an elegant and fun twist.
