- 1 cup Ice
- 3 tablespoons Instant coffee
- ½ cup Coconut sugar or honey, or sugar
- ⅓ cup Cold water
- Cacao powder for dusting or mixing, to taste
Add the ice, instant coffee, sugar, and half of the cold water (about 2 ½ tablespoons) to your food processor (or high-speed blender).
Blend until the ice is crushed and the mixture is partly smooth.
Slowly pour in the remaining half of the cold water while blending until thick, smooth, and frothy. Tip: If you add more water, the mousse will become looser. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
Pour into a tall glass. Dust the top with cocoa powder, or blend some in for extra chocolate flavor.
Serve right away and enjoy!
Use very cold water and ice for the best texture and frothiness.
Add water gradually until you reach your preferred consistency. More water makes the mousse lighter, while less water keeps it thicker.
Taste before serving and adjust the sugar, honey, or coconut sugar to suit your preference.
Chill your serving glass beforehand to keep the mousse cool and refreshing.
Store in the freezer for up to 1 week. Let it thaw slightly and re-blend or stir before enjoying.
