Ingredients

  • 1 box Instant vanilla pudding mix 3.5 ounces
  • 2 cups Cold Milk
  • 1 cup Heavy cream Whipped
  • 2 tablespoons Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • Fresh Strawberries Sliced
  • Crushed graham crackers or cookie crumbs
  • Mint leaves for garnish, optional

Instructions

  • Prepare the instant vanilla pudding: In a large mixing bowl, combine the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk. Whisk vigorously for about 2 minutes until the pudding thickens. Let it set for a few minutes in the refrigerator to firm up further.
  • Whip the heavy cream: In a separate mixing bowl, add the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Use an electric mixer to whip the cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Fold whipped cream into pudding: Take the prepared vanilla pudding from the refrigerator and gently fold in the whipped cream. Be careful not to deflate the cream; fold until well combined, creating a smooth and airy texture.

Layer the Parfaits

  • Use individual serving glasses or small jars to create the layers. Start by adding a spoonful of the crushed Graham crackers followed by a spoonful of the pudding mixture to the bottom of each glass.
  • Place a few slices of fresh strawberries on top of the pudding layer, creating a vibrant and fruity layer.
  • Continue layering by adding more pudding mixture, followed by sliced strawberries. Repeat the process until you reach the top of the glass, finishing with a layer of strawberries.
  • To add some crunch and extra flavor, sprinkle crushed graham crackers or cookie crumbs on top of the final strawberry layer.
  • Cover the parfaits with plastic wrap or the lids of the jars and refrigerate them for at least 1-2 hours or until ready to serve. Chilling allows the flavors to meld together and the dessert to set.
  • Before serving, you can add a small sprig of fresh mint as a garnish, which complements the strawberries beautifully. Enjoy the delicious, refreshing, and visually appealing no-bake strawberry pudding parfaits!

Notes

  • Experiment with different flavors and textures by using a variety of pudding flavors, such as chocolate, vanilla, or butterscotch, and layering them with crushed cookies, fresh fruits, or nuts.
  • You can also add different kinds of fruit and berries.
  • To add an extra touch of indulgence, consider incorporating layers of whipped cream or caramel sauce between the pudding layers for a creamy and decadent parfait.
  • Fresh cream can also be used instead of whipping cream. Just whip it a little longer. To enhance the flavors, you can also sprinkle some cinnamon or cocoa powder on top of each layer.
  • To maintain their texture and prevent any moisture from seeping in, it is important to store them in a cool and dry place in the refrigerator. Additionally, it is advisable to avoid stacking the parfait cups to prevent any damage or squishing of the layers.
