Today, I am offering you the 5 Minute Magic Green Sauce, a sauce that many of you will definitely agree is magical in all senses of the word.

The all-green ingredients of this sauce and the simple steps of preparation make it deserve its name: the magical green sauce. By mixing some avocado, parsley, cilantro, jalapeno, and garlic alongside other additives, you end up falling in love with this 5-minute magic green sauce.

A Sauce That Solves Any Problem

A white bowl is surrounded by green veggies as broccoli, zucchini, squash, and bell peppers. The bowl which has a spoon beside it contains a magic sauce that is green and prepared in just 5 minutes.
If life gives you avocados, prepare a magical green sauce.

    The Quizzical, Magical Green Sauce

Yummy, creamy, and mouth-melting, this sauce has some issues related to its eating. When you try for the first time, you may feel a pang of regret. You will first feel sorry that you haven’t tried this delicacy.

Then, the feeling of regret heightens as you get addicted to this magical green sauce. It quickly becomes your best friend for most of your dishes, from salads to sandwiches and crackers.

I’m speaking from experience, for I tried it last week. The result wasn’t only surprisingly satisfying; in fact, it was unbelievably good. For the whole week thereafter, I have been putting a little bit of it with everything, literally, everything I eat.

What’s Magical about the Magic Sauce?

It’s not called the magical sauce for nothing. Actually, it is worth the name. First, the magic is in its versatility. This sauce fits with almost everything. This could include your favorite salad, pizza, burger, enchiladas, sandwiches, chicken breast, crackers, and so on. It is the only sauce that converts your cooking place into a little green kitchen.

The magic green sauce recipe is also magical in its convenience. By only using a food processor, you toss all the ingredients in the bowl and mix! Then, Abracadabra: In 5 minutes, you get a magical, smooth thing that goes with literally everything else.

Want more magic? Well, here you go! The 5 Minute Magic Green Sauce is totally vegan, too. This makes it suitable for any diet.

It also contains a magical ingredient: creamy avocado. Avocados make this sauce super creamy and silky. Their neutral flavor makes it suitable as a drizzle over a wide variety of plates. And the tangy taste of garlic and jalapenos adds a pinch of yum to this recipe.

    The Green Sauce Vibes

    Eat clean and green.

Tips for a Pro Green Sauce

The traditional recipe has a spicy taste. But, for a kid-friendly version, you can go without jalapeno and still get the delicious taste of this favorite sauce.

If you don’t like the strong taste of the cilantro leaves, you can replace them with fresh herbs like dill or basil. You can also make it greener by adding some chopped green onions.

For a more creamy texture, you can replace the cup of water with three ice cubes.

You can use this sauce as a pasta sauce, just like pesto or tomato sauces.

Finally, you can enjoy eating the magic green sauce with your food favorites while sitting in front of the TV or reading one of Hardie Grant’s books.

And don’t forget to share pictures of your pinch of yum dinners, including this avocado-cilantro-lime thing, on your preferred social media app. I’m sure it’s appropriate for live events or a magic green sauce Snapchat session frenzy.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

    Can I use canned jalapenos?

I don’t recommend that. Canned jalapenos give this sauce an acidic taste and ruin the original flavor.

Can we freeze the ingredients beforehand?

While such green foods can be easily thawed, using them frozen is one of the least favorite things. The reason is that the remaining ingredients will become separate and hard to combine.

Can I prepare the sauce beforehand?

Yes, definitely! You can prepare it and keep it covered with a cling film or stored in full mason jars in the refrigerator. You can use it anytime you want, and it remains edible for 3-5 days.

Let’s Go Vegan with This Sauce

A sauce of avocado, cilantro, mint, and pistachios ground into cream is in a glass jar on a table.
    A flavorsome, artistic sauce

Ingredients of the 5 Minute Magic Sauce

To prepare this magical sauce, I choose good textured herbs. They have to be fresh and green to yield a fresh and magical sauce.

All you need is an avocado, fresh cilantro and parsley, garlic cloves, a jalapeno with the ribs and seeds removed, and lime juice. You can add more lime for the best tangy lime flavor. You’ll need a cup of water, olive oil, a pinch of salt, and pistachios.

Steps to Prepare the 5-Minute Magic Green Sauce

Actually, it is one step, and that is part of the magic in this recipe. You just put all the ingredients—except the pistachios- in the food processor.

Next, you blend for a maximum of 5 minutes. You might place them in a mixing bowl, and grind them with an immersion blender.

After that, you add the pistachios and give it a final mix.

Now , it’s the right time to have the magic green sauce for dinner tonight. You can have it as a salad dressing, a sandwich spread, rockin’ chip dip, or a replacement of punchy garlic for your chicken recipes.
