Tips for Delicious Results

Tip 1: For bold flavors, sauté fresh garlic cloves in olive oil before adding them to the mix. You can also use garlic powder. It adds so much flavor.

Tip 2: If you are into a little heat, drop in some red pepper flakes. You can also add a pinch of salt if you feel like the overall taste needs some.

Tip 3: Substitute the cream cheese with Neufchâtel cheese, found in your local grocery store! It is lower in fat and tastes the same. You can use chive cream cheese too for extra flavor.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this recipe work with fresh Spinach?

I have never tried this particular recipe with fresh spinach, but feel free to try! Chop it, give it a quick steam-cook on stovetop until it is soft, then remove excess water. You might need to adjust the cooking time a bit.

Can I use other types of cheese?

Actually, Queso white cheese is highly recommended. It is so tasty, and after trying both, I kind of liked it more than mozzarella. Parmesan cheese, or even a little bit of crumbled feta cheese, are good options too. The taste of some cheese goodness is always welcomed!

Is this recipe served hot or cold?

I prefer to serve this particular recipe right out of the oven. Serving this dish cold would likely mean hardened cream cheese. So a hot spinach artichoke dip is the way to go!
