How to Serve Delicious Baked Salmon and Tahini Salsa

There are plenty of ways you can serve the differing components of this dish. As I mentioned before, you can serve the salmon on or next to the salad and leave out the carbs altogether.

You can bake the salmon or barbecue it on a charcoal or gas grill. You can even cook it on an indoor electric grill as well. Just be sure to keep an eye on the salmon as it cooks so it doesn’t overcook.

Do you like to dip or spread? Take a bit of your baked salmon and mince it. Then, make a bowl of salmon spread. The taste is irresistible!

For the tahini salad, you can swap out veggies that you don’t like for ones you do! Or keep the ones in my recipe and add more of your favorites like lettuce, or kale, or celery, or shredded carrots.

Do you like it an extra tangy? Pour some pomegranate molasses into the tahini mix or right over your salsa!

Tips for Delicious Salmon and Tahini Salsa

Should you marinate the salmon first? The answer is definitely NO. Usually, we use marinade so the meat soaks the flavors. But salmon is a fragile fish and this recipe has an acidic marinade.

The few minutes before setting the salmon in the oven are enough. You can leave it up to 30 minutes maximum. If you leave it for longer, the salmon may become mushy. It may fall apart!

Make sure that you set salmon skin down on the baking sheet. If otherwise, the meat will stick to the sheet. When serving, it may fall apart and loose its amazing shape.

Do not leave salmon in the oven to be overcooked. If you leave it for more, it will go from moist and silky to tough and dry.

It is easy to check if your salmon is done. Simply, insert a fork or a knife in the salmon. The, twist it a bit. The salmon should be opaque and flake easily.
