Ingredients for the Miso Ramen Tofu Soup

  • water or vegetable broth
  • ramen noodles
  • organic firm tofu
  • seaweed snack
  • bouillon cubes (if not using vegetable broth)
  • yoho shiro organic miso paste
  • green onions
  • salt to taste
  • Sriracha (optional)

Steps to Prep

  1. First, drain tofu and slice it into 3 blocks.
  2. Then, cut the tofu vertically and horizontally to make small cubes.
  3. Remove half of the seaweed package, and then cut into three parts using scissors.
  4. After that, add 4 quarts of water with bouillon cubes or vegetable broth in a pot to boil.
  5. Add ramen noodles.
  6. Once the noodles have cooked, add in the miso paste and stir well. 
  7. Add in the cubed tofu and the chopped greens onions.
  8. Turn heat off and serve immediately.
  9. Finally, garnish with more green onions, sriracha sauce and seaweed salad (optional).
  10. Enjoy your tasty meal.

Servings: 6 people

Ingredients 

  • 4 quarts water or vegetable broth
  • 3 oz or 2 packages of ramen noodles
  • 8 oz or ½ package of organic firm tofu, cubed small
  • 35 oz ½ package of seaweed snack
  • 2 cubes bouillon (if not using vegetable broth)
  • 1 cup Yohoshiro organic miso paste
  • 5 stalks green onions, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Sriracha sauce, optional for garnish and spiceness

Instructions 

  • After draining tofu, slice it into 3-4 blocks and then cut vertically and horizontally to make small cubes.
  • Remove half of the seaweed package, then cut into three parts using scissors.
  • Add 4 quarts of water or vegetable broth in a pot to boil (about 6-8 minutes to boil), and then add ramen noodles and the cubed tofu to cook for about 6 minutes. If you’re using water then add 2 bouillon cubes. 
  • Add in the miso paste to the cooked noodle and stir well. Add the chopped greens onions and turn heat off and serve.
  • Garnish with more green onions, sriracha sauce and seaweed salad (optional).Enjoy the tasty meal! Bon appetite!
