    Fluffiest Quinoa Ever

    A spoon full of nutritions!

    Reasons To Love Quinoa:

The popularity of quinoa has grown steadily over the years since people have discovered its pleasant nutty taste and superfood qualities.

Quinoa is very nutritious because it’s full of fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals. Also, it’s perfect for vegans, vegetarians, and for those on low-carb diet!

There are three main types found in markets in the U.S.: white, red, and black. However, white quinoa has the most neutral, easy-to-love flavor but all of them are healthy and delicious!

Quinoa pairs well with a wide range of flavors and it cooks in just under 30 minutes!

With one cup of dry quinoa — any color of your choice — you will end up with three times as much cooked quinoa!

What a Perfect Pot of Boiled Quinoa

Hot or cold, quinoa is always yummy!

Serving Suggestions For Your Fluffy Quinoa:

Perfectly Boiled and Seasoned Broccoli would be a perfect combination to quinoa, along with chicken stew or Easy Chicken Curry with Vegetables.

Use quinoa just as you would use any other grain, like rice or barley because quinoa makes a fantastic side dish for almost every meal!

All colors of quinoa deliciously pair with sweet flavors! Also, try topping it with cinnamon and freshly cut fruit pieces in the morning, or mix it into a batch of breakfast cookies.

You can surely add a drizzle of olive oil and clove of garlic into warm quinoa for extra flavor. Other options may also include chopped fresh spinach or kale.

Garnish quinoa with fresh herbs or dried spices, grated cheese, cherry tomatoes, or even sliced olives.

Serve it as a bed for stews, baked fish, and with varieties of chicken. Also, use it in casseroles, salads, and breakfast porridges because mouthwatering taste is guaranteed!

    Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I replace white quinoa with any other color?

Yes sure, preparation process is the same for all kinds of quinoa but note these two differences: darker colors need a bit more time to be cooked and have stronger nutty flavor, but lighter varieties cook faster and have milder flavor.

    How to store cooked quinoa?

Cool quinoa to room temperature and then put it in the fridge for 4 to 5 days, also you can even freeze it up to 2 or 3 months.

Can I use my rice cooker to make quinoa?

Definitely! Just use the same liquid-to-quinoa ratio and follow the detailed instructions on your rice cooker.

How to remove the bitterness of quinoa?

Rinsing dry quinoa in a fine mesh strainer under running water removes any bitterness of the quinoa that’s caused by saponins, bitter compounds naturally present in quinoa and other grains/legumes.

    Notes
