Firstly, add in a small pot 1 cup of rinsed and dried quinoa, 2 cups of water, and salt to taste. Then place on high heat and stir the pot.

Secondly, lower the heat the moment water starts to boil. Then cover the pot and let the quinoa simmer for 15 minutes.

Thirdly, open the lid and allow quinoa to cool down for 5 minutes.

  • 1 cup dry uncooked quinoa (white color)
  • 2 cups water
  • dash of salt (nearly ¼ teaspoon salt per cup of dry quinoa)

Instructions 

  • In a small pot add in 1 cup of rinsed and dried quinoa, 2 cups of water, and salt to taste. 
  • Place on high heat and stir the pot.
