    You need to start with thawing the puff pastry. So just take it out from the freezer and let it sit on the kitchen counter for about 30 minutes. Don’t unroll or unfold it when it’s cold, otherwise the dough will simply crack.

    The hot dogs can be seasoned. I did nit season them, but for a flavorful taste, of course you can. So, they can be seasoned with paprika, curry, BBQ sauce, or ketchup after they are boiled and before they are wrapped. 

    Don’t forget to brush them to give a beautiful golden color to the pastry!

    After brushing, sprinkle with a little bit of sesame seeds and poppy seeds for decoration and fancy look.

    You can also air fry them at 375 degrees for 10-13 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.

    • Egg yolk
    • Milk

    Instructions

    Firstly, preheat over to 350°F.  Then line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 

    Secondly, in a pot boil the hot dogs for about 5-7 minutes, then strain and allow to cool. 

    Thirdly, thaw one sheet of phyllo dough then cut long strips about 1 inch thick each strip. 

    Next, begin wrapping the hot dog starting from the tip. Simply wrap, then pinch the bottom end of phyllo together.

    After that, combine 1 egg yolk with 1 tablespoon milk, brush the wrapped hot dogs and then bake for 20-22 minutes or until golden. 

    Finally, serve warm with a side of ketchup, mustard, relish, or other dipping sauce.
